Recreation

It’s hard to tell where education ends and fun begins at the Eastern 4-H Environmental Education Conference Center!  There’s so much to do and such a wonderful place to do it all.

The bay, rivers, creeks and pool offer outstanding aquatic opportunities. The zero-entry pool is handicap accessible and complete with volleyball and basketball setups.

Bike or walk the trails through the surrounding forests. Take to the water in canoe, kayak or sailboat. Learn compass reading and orienteering and improve your outdoor living skills. Enjoy our playfields for volleyball, softball and soccer to round out the sports activities. But that’s just the beginning of what you can do at the Eastern 4-H Center . See the list below for more!

Bring your group and stay overnight in comfortable cabins or primitive campsites, or just plan a daytrip. We've got the equipment for paddling, sailing, ropes courses and lots of other great activities. Call 252-797-4800 or email Nikki_Norman@ncsu.edu today!
