Description:
Beautiful Albemarle Sound is the backdrop for this amazing
camp designed especially for teens. Discover, first hand,
the fascinating world of marine life. A simple
teaspoon of water becomes a living classroom for chemistry,
geology, and
biology. Dissect a fish, follow the tides, learn the
parts of a sailboat and discover the thrill of making them work
with the winds to set you on your way!
The Albemarle Sound also becomes
the classroom for the sailing action, led by an
experienced instructor. The sound's warm and shallow waters make
this both safe and enjoyable.
Throughout the week campers stay in
comfortable, climate-controlled bunkhouses and enjoy all the
amenities of this state-of-the-art facility. Bring more than one swimsuit. We plan to be
wet!
